So it’s still that time of the year most drivers hate. Thankfully since the British GT season finished I have been pretty busy, a lot of my time has been taken up by training for the 2014 season and I have also been down at Silverstone for the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholarship. Sadly this didn’t come off in the way I wanted to, however a massive congratulations has to go to Josh Webster for winning the scholarship.
I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. When one door closes another opens, hopefully onto bigger and better things.
In 3 weeks’ time I will be out in Abu Dhabi competing in the Gulf 12hrs, driving for Optimum Motorsport in our Championship winning Ginetta G50 GT4 car, partnering Joe Osborne and Lee Mowle.
After learning the Yas Marina Circuit this week on a simulator I am really looking forward to the race, the track looks mega and the grid looks pretty good for the race too.
I will be back with an update when I get back from Abu Dhabi.
